Android L Navigation Bar for Xperia C

Android L is attracting attentions of many developers as well as android phone users for the nature of easiness its is designed for and the rapidness it serves to humanity. As our Poor Xperia C currently did not receive any updates, so XDA Dev abo honi Ported Android L Navigation Bar for Xperia C.

One can download Android L Navigation Bar for Xperia C from here (Download Host).

Alternative to systemui.apk method is by Installing Android L Navigation Bar Xposed Module from here.

It is simply systemui.apk for the modded Navigation bar of Android L for Xperia C.

Now the tutorial I posted earlier : Guide to Install theme and nav Bar

And just jump on Part II of it. Do not forget to backup your stock systemui.apk as you will see in the video tutorial.

 

Note :

  1. Your phone must be rooted and Root Explorer must be installed. To know more about rooting Xperia  C, then read : Rooting and Unrooting Xperia C.
  2. After downloading systemui.apk , First of all copy the systemui.apk to system folder then set the permissions to RW-R-R ant then paste it to app folder. Thanks to Informationlord visitor for sharing his knowledge via commenting on the site.

#Panic Situations :

  1. Mobile hangs after replacing systemui.apk

In this case just forcely restart your phone by pressing Volume up and Power Button simultaneously until your phone restarts.

  1. Back Button is extra large than Home and Multitask buttons.

The best solution known for it is : Install Gravity box to modify or tweak the buttons or use Xposed Module from the XDA forum.

      I would suggest you to take a backup of existing systemui before proceeding and give it a try!

    Somesh. We can use gravity box to change navigation icon with single checkbox… Under navigation bar tweaks
