Many of you may be like me and my friends. So I have found quite a few best alternative for the same.
Office suite:-
Openoffice is the best popular free office suite. It supports windows 7 ,xp and linux OS. You can open all formats document created using MS office. It includes word processing software(writer) ,spredsheet (cale), Presentation(Impress), dwaring graphic tool (draw) and database management too.It also has built in email facility too. Openoffice can also be installed on android ,on ios and creat documents on the go.

If you don’t want to install office suite on your pc, then google docs is the best alternative using which you can view, edit or create and save documents online. Thinkoffice is a web browser based on office suite. ON signing up you get 1gb space for creating your own document stuff. I think that’s more than enough. The best thing of office is that if your browser crashes while you are working on a document no need to worry as your data get automatically saved online to prevent data loss 😀
Photo editing :-
If you do not want to buy photoshop then you could try gimp for free editing of photos that too very easily. The interface of gimp’s is quite different from other available photo editing softwares.
One can also create website templates using gimp and also edit or open psd files( photoshop files very easily).One would not need color correction too,if using gimp.

Virtual dub is also a open source video processor and editor but it doesn’t have much options for non-linear video editors. It boasts features like noise reduction,avi 2 support, Video audio compression etc.

Although there are many free antivirus software available on the internet, my dear friends such anti virus provide limited protection only . Clamwin is an open source and absolutely free antivirus. You would not require to buy license for the same. It supports windows 8, windows 7 vista and xp.
